Chùa Hùng Long - Đảo Phú Quốc

A hillside pagoda in the island's interior, set among trees on the road out towards Su Muon, with a traditional hall and quiet grounds looking over the surrounding countryside. It's an active temple well off the tourist track, so the draw is the calm and the setting rather than crowds or grandeur. Free to visit and quick — a short stop to fold into a day exploring the interior's temples, waterfalls and pepper farms. Dress modestly, keep it low-key if there's a ceremony on, and take a moment for the views before heading back down. Peaceful, and rarely another visitor in sight.
