Dinh Bà Thủy Long Thánh Mẫu

A small, colourful temple in the heart of Dương Đông dedicated to Thủy Long Thánh Mẫu, a local mother-goddess of the sea and land. It's a working neighbourhood shrine — bright with dragons, incense and offerings — where islanders come to pray, particularly during its annual festival. Not a big-ticket sight, but a genuine slice of local faith a short walk from the town markets, and free to look in respectfully. Dress modestly, take your shoes off where asked, and keep it low-key if a service is on. A five-minute stop to fold into a wander around town.
