Tháp Bút Chì — literally Pencil Tower — is a slender white landmark in Sunset Town, the Mediterranean-themed resort district in the south of Phu Quoc. The tower rises from Amalfi Road, one of the main pedestrian streets in Sunset Town, and has become one of the most photographed spots in the development. Its design is clean and simple: a tapered column with a rounded top, primarily white with blue accents echoing the sea. Free to approach and photograph at any time. Best visited at dusk when the surrounding pastel buildings and sea views are at their most striking and the evening light draws the biggest crowds.
