Ong Lang beach

A quieter alternative to Long Beach on the west coast, Ông Lang is a string of small sandy coves broken up by rock and palms rather than one long strip. The water's calm and good for swimming, low-key resorts and beach bars sit back under the trees, and it catches the same west-coast sunset without the crowds. It's a bit more local and unpolished — some patches of seaweed and litter depending on the season — but that's the trade for the quiet. Free. Good for a slow beach day, a sundowner, and fewer people than the south.
