The largest bamboo structure in Vietnam — a 15-metre pavilion inside Grand World's Legend Square at Bai Dai, designed by architect Vo Trong Nghia from around 42,000 bamboo stems sourced from Tay Ninh province. Entry is free, and it's open around the clock. At night the circular lattice ceiling lights up and the effect is worth seeing. It sits at the entrance of the Grand World complex in the north of the island, so pair it with an evening wander through the European-canal streets and waterway nearby. Budget 30 minutes for the structure itself.
